The Retreat Includes:

  • Transportation: Includes transportation from the hotel to the retreat center and back.

Ceremonies:

  • Cleansing with Volcanic Water: A detoxification ceremony.
  • Energy Unification Ceremony: Using the coca leaf in an energy harmonization context.
  • Coca Leaf Reading Ceremony: For interpretation and connection with energy.
  • Kuti – Cleansing Ceremony: Focused on energy cleansing.
  • Pachamama Offering Ceremony: A ritual dedicated to Mother Earth.
  • Spiritual Healing Session: A session dedicated to holistic healing.

Staff and Services:

  • Shamans: Two shamans, Andean and Shipibo (spiritual guides), per ceremony. If the group reaches a maximum of 12 participants, 2 shamans will be included.
  • Ceremony Assistants: One assistant per ceremony, with the possibility of including 2 assistants if the group reaches 12 participants.
  • Translation: Quechua/Spanish to English translation services.
  • Group Meeting: Introduction of the shamans, discussion about the ceremonies, and an opportunity to share experiences and learnings. Consultations are available before and after the ceremonies.
  • Meals: Simple and delicious vegetarian meals adapted to the retreat’s needs.

Accommodation:

  • Facilities: Shared rooms for three people and shared bathrooms.

Health and Safety:

  • Medical Exam: Medical evaluation 24 hours before the retreat begins.
  • Medical Staff: A nurse will be present during all ceremonies to ensure the safety and well-being of the participants.

Program:

  • 08:00: Transportation from the hotel to the retreat center.
  • 09:00: Meet and greet with WAYRA SPIRIT staff and center orientation.
  • 09:30: Group meeting – Introduction to the Shamans (spiritual guides), discussion about the different ceremonies being performed.
  • 10:30: Energy unification ceremony.
  • 11:00: Coca leaf reading with the Andean shaman.
  • 11:30: Kuti – Cleansing ceremony (energy cleansing).
  • 12:00: Preparation for the ceremony / personal meditation in the main ceremonial hall.
  • 12:30: Spiritual healing ceremony.
  • 17:00: Pachamama offering ceremony (Mother Earth).
  • 18:00: Dinner.
  • 18:30: Group photo.
  • 19:00: Return to Cusco (back to your hotel/hostel).

Note

  • Private retreats are also available, offering more flexibility in the itinerary. Private retreats can be booked depending on reservation availability and for an additional fee.

Diet Information

Dietary Recommendations:

  • Avoid: Alcohol, cigarettes, coffee, chocolate, canned foods, red meat, pork, processed meats, spicy foods, excessive salt and sugar, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives.
  • Duration: Maintain these restrictions for 7 days before the retreat.
  • Recommended Diet: Eat healthy, organic foods. White meats like chicken and fish are allowed, especially beneficial for the brain. Dishes like ceviche and leche de tigre are recommended, as long as they are prepared without chili.

Medications:

  • Avoid: Prescription medications, birth control pills, antibiotics, injections, natural supplements, and vitamins during the week prior to and during the retreat.
  • Communication: If you are taking necessary medications, please contact us before the retreat.

Health Requirements:

We reserve the right to deny retreat participation to individuals with:

  • Pregnancy
  • Heart surgery or pacemakers
  • Blood disorders
  • Mental illnesses such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder
  • For antidepressant medications, please contact WAYRA SPIRIT administration to plan the safest way forward.

Sexual Activity:

Recommendation: Refrain from sexual activity, including masturbation, for 2 days before the retreat to maintain optimal energy levels during the ceremonies.

Spiritual and Mental Preparation:
Practices: Practice meditation, prayer, yoga, or other spiritual practices before the retreat. If you don’t have an established practice, engage in a personal prayer each morning and evening.
Attitude: Maintain honesty, love, respect, humility, courage, and mental and spiritual strength before and during the retreat.

Diet the Night Before and the Day of the Ceremony:

  • Night Before: Eat a hearty and healthy dinner, following the dietary restrictions.
  • Day of the Ceremony: You will fast, consuming only water.
